- 1 packet Lemon peel

- Mix the flour, yeast, lemon zest, milk, sugar, butter and egg well in a food processor. Let the dough rise until it has doubled. Knead again, roll out on a greased baking sheet and let rise again for 15 minutes. For the topping, mix the butter with sugar until frothy. Stir in the quark, cream, lemon zest and pudding powder. Spread the mixture on the yeast dough. Clean the apples, cut them into wedges and spread them over the curd mixture like roof tiles. Sprinkle with flaked almonds and bake in the preheated oven at 170 ° C for 50-55 minutes. Strain the apricot jam through a sieve and brush the cake with it.
