Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 ml QimiQ (half pack)
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese (alternative: yogurt)
  • 2 m.-sized apples
  • 1 dl apple juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp liquid honey
  • possibly sugar or sweetener
  • possibly cinnamon, for sprinkling

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

light and delicious cream with QimiQ

Lightly peel the apples, halve them, core them, and coarsely grate them in a bowl. Immediately add the apple juice, lemon juice, and low-fat quark and mix well. Stir in the honey and season with sugar or sweetener, if desired. Stir in room-temperature QimiQ until smooth, add to the mixture, and mix well. Serve in dessert bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Dust with cinnamon shortly before serving, if desired. Additional information: QimiQ consists of single cream and 1.5% edible gelatin.
