Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 350 ml apple juice
  • 100 ml orange juice
  • 350 ml juice of red fruits or berries
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Red – juice – juice – jelly

Combine the juices in a large saucepan and bring to a boil with the preserving sugar. Boil gently for 4 minutes, then pour into prepared twist-off jars while still hot. Turn the jars upside down for at least 5 minutes to ensure a secure seal. This delicious jelly is very quick to prepare. The red fruits can be changed, as it’s only the quantity that matters, not the variety. This can be chosen according to taste or harvest. The jelly will keep for a good 2 years; for longer storage, a preserving aid should be added. This makes enough for approximately 3 standard jam jars and a sampler.
