Apple Strudel My Way
The perfect apple strudel my way recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Puff pastry made from rye or spelled flour
- 6 size Styrian apples
- Ground cinnamon
- Some butter
- Take the puff pastry out of the package and place on baking paper. Grate the apples and spread on the dough, sprinkle with cinnamon and roll in. Brush with a little butter. and turn on the oven to 180 degrees and bake the strudel until crispy and brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if necessary. I don’t use sugar for the strudel because the apples (Styrian) have enough intrinsic sweetness.
