Apple Strudel My Way

The perfect apple strudel my way recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Puff pastry made from rye or spelled flour
  • 6 size Styrian apples
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Some butter
  1. Take the puff pastry out of the package and place on baking paper. Grate the apples and spread on the dough, sprinkle with cinnamon and roll in. Brush with a little butter. and turn on the oven to 180 degrees and bake the strudel until crispy and brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if necessary. I don’t use sugar for the strudel because the apples (Styrian) have enough intrinsic sweetness.
