Apple tart with eggnog

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ½ liter white wine
  • ½ liter apple juice
  • 120 g sugar
  • 2 pts. pudding powder, vanilla
  • 1 kg apples
  • 1 cup whipped cream,
  • eggnog

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 30 minutes

Knead the sugar, butter, flour, and egg into a shortcrust pastry and line a springform pan with it. Make the vanilla pudding with white wine, apple juice, and sugar. Peel, core, and finely chop the apples and mix with the pudding. Place on the pastry and bake at 180°C for about 1 hour. Let cool and refrigerate overnight. Whip the cream until stiff and spread it over the cake. Spread a thick layer of advocaat over the top and refrigerate for another 2 hours.
