Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 apples, sour
  • 100 g almond(s), sliced
  • 100 g butter or margarine
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 shot of milk
  • possibly cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

warm Swedish dessert dream

Peel, quarter, and slice the apples (approx. 0.5 cm thick). Layer the apple slices in a buttered baking dish. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the sugar, almonds, flour, and milk until everything forms a smooth mixture. Pour the butter, sugar, and almond mixture over the apples and bake for 20 minutes at 170-180°C. Serve with vanilla ice cream or custard. During the Christmas season, you can also add a little cinnamon to the mixture.
