Applesauce crumble sheet cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp, leveled cinnamon powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 3 jars of applesauce, with pieces, 350 g per jar
  • 100 g raisins
  • n. B. water
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

It’s quick and easy, tastes like apple strudel, about 24 pieces

For the dough, cream the butter until fluffy. Stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and egg. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in until the dough is nice and crumbly. Press half of the dough onto a greased baking sheet to form the base. Mix the applesauce with the raisins and spread over the shortcrust pastry base. Sprinkle the remaining crumbles over the cake and bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 40-50 minutes. The cake tastes delicious with whipped cream, a bit like apple strudel. Tip: Mix everything with the whisk attachment of a hand mixer to create a nice crumble! Add 3-4 tablespoons of water if needed! The cake has 5913 kcal.
