- Rum, brown
- 500 g apples, slightly sour

- 1 tbsp lime juice
- n. B. Cinnamon powder
- possibly almond sticks
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 8 hours 45 minutes
Soak the raisins in rum overnight. They should be well covered. Peel, core, and dice the apples. Place them in a saucepan with the vanilla sugar, lime juice, cinnamon, and the rum from the raisins. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes. Then puree 3/4 of the mixture with a hand blender, add the remaining apple pieces and the rum-infused raisins. Let cool and refrigerate. Another delicious option: toast 2 tablespoons of slivered almonds in a dry pan and add them to the puree.
