Apricot Chutney No. 3

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g apricot(s), fresh
  • 250 g apples, fresh
  • 250 g onion(s)
  • 30 g raisins
  • 140 g brown sugar
  • 175 ml vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • ½ tsp allspice (ground)
  • 1 tsp ginger (fresh and grated)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash, stone, and dice the apricots. Wash, peel, and dice the apples. Peel and finely dice the onions. Place everything in a saucepan. Peel and grate the ginger. Mix the raisins, sugar, vinegar, and spices thoroughly. Bring everything to a boil and simmer over low heat for about 45 minutes until thickened. Stir occasionally. Pour into jars while still hot.
