Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg apricot(s), pitted
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 100 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Wash and pit the apricots, and weigh them to 1 kg. Cook the apricots in approximately 100 ml of water, stirring constantly, until soft. Drain the water and puree the apricots with a hand blender until no skin is visible. Meanwhile, boil the jar lids in water. Cook the pureed mixture for approximately 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly, then add the gelling sugar according to the package instructions. After boiling for another 5 minutes, pour the hot mixture into clean jars and immediately screw on the hot lids.
