Quick tomato sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter tomato(s), pureed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp basil, dried
  • 1 cube of stock
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Simply heat the passata with the olive oil, stir the Mondamin with a little water until smooth to avoid lumps, and add it. Bring to a boil while stirring, then remove the pan from the heat. Then stir in the stock cube (it should dissolve), oregano, basil, garlic, and sugar. Done! This makes a great sauce for pasta, especially spaghetti, and tastes wonderful with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top!
