Asparagus casserole

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g white asparagus
  • 5 slice(s) ham, raw
  • 100 g sheep’s cheese
  • 5 small tomatoes
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp brunch, paprika chili
  • e.g. milk
  • 1 tbsp herb butter
  • Salt
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with raw asparagus

Peel the asparagus and trim the bottom ends. Place the stalks in a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar. Whisk the egg with the cream and brunch. Season with salt. Add milk, if desired. I mixed it in a coffee mug that’s about 1/4 liter in size. I filled it almost full. Pour the mixture over the asparagus. In my case, the asparagus wasn’t covered, but it still turned out soft. Finely dice the ham, feta cheese, and tomatoes. Sprinkle everything over the asparagus. Sprinkle small flakes of herb butter on top. Bake at 175°C for about 30 minutes.
