Banana chocolate cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 120 g butter, soft
  • 2 bananas
  • 90 g sugar, brown, fine
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 25 g cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 100 g dark chocolate (chocolate drops)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Moist sponge cake

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Mash the bananas with a fork and mix with the butter, sugar, and eggs. Then combine the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder and sift into the banana cream. Blend all ingredients with milk until smooth, forming a thick batter. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into a greased 20-25 cm loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes. The cake is ready when the batter has risen, but it’s best to do a toothpick test to be sure.
