Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 350 g elderberries
- 350 g plum(s)
- 350 g pear(s)
- 400 g sugar
- 1 pack of Gelfix 3 to 1
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes
With elderberry, plum and pear
Wash the elderberries and remove them from the stalks. Peel, core, and finely chop the pears. Also pit and finely chop the plums. Place all the fruit in a bowl with the sugar and the gelatin, cover, and let stand for several hours. Either pour the jam into Weck jars and cook in a water bath at 90 degrees Celsius (194 degrees Fahrenheit) (approx. 45 minutes), or boil it as usual and transfer it to screw-top jars while still hot.
