Avocado-broccoli mash

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g broccoli
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes

easy and fast

Cut the broccoli into florets, peel the stalk, and dice it. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add salt to the boiling water and add the broccoli. Cook the broccoli for 6-7 minutes until soft. Meanwhile, cut the avocado and dice the flesh. Place the avocado cubes in a bowl and season with lime juice and plenty of salt and pepper. Then mash everything with a potato masher. Drain the broccoli and add it to the bowl with the avocado. Mash the broccoli and avocado. Season with more salt and pepper, if desired. The mash goes well with meatballs and pan-fried redfish fillet.
