Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g pasta of your choice (e.g. rigatoni or penne)
  • 200 g bacon, diced
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 200 ml crème fraîche
  • 50 ml cream
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 tsp, heaped herbs of your choice (e.g. parsley, chives)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Pasta topped with bacon and cheese

First, cook the pasta briefly for about 2-3 minutes (that is, not until completely cooked, but just until the toughness is gone). In the meantime, dice the bacon and onion. Grease a baking dish. Mix together the crème fraîche, cream, pepper, herbs, and a little cheese. If desired, you can also season with salt (but be careful—the bacon will release salt). Combine the pasta, bacon, and onion in the baking dish and pour over the cream sauce. Then stir everything once and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 to 30 minutes. Serve hot.
