Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 cake base (Vienna base), purchased or homemade
- 500 ml ice cream (vanilla)
- 500 ml ice cream (chocolate)
- 3 egg whites
- 80 g sugar

Thaw the ice cream slightly, then cut the base in half (the store-bought one already comes in three). Fill the first layer with vanilla ice cream, place the second layer on top, spread with chocolate ice cream, and place the last layer on top. Freeze overnight until very solid. Preheat the broiler to a very high temperature. Whisk the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form and spread in waves over the ice cream cake. Briefly broil the egg whites until lightly browned, then serve immediately.
