Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of vanilla pulp
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 pinch of vanilla, ground
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 large apples, (egBoskop)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp walnuts
  • 4 tsp jam (cranberry or plum)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

This recipe is designed for a springform pan with a diameter of 20 cm

Recipe for a 20 cm springform pan. First, make the batter: Combine margarine, eggs, sugar, and vanilla seeds. Mix together the flour and baking powder. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Then pour the batter into a deep, greased baking pan and spread it out. For the cheesecake, mix the crème fraîche with the egg yolk, vanilla, and sugar, then stir in the cornstarch. Peel and core the apples. Mix together the cinnamon and sugar. Roll the apples in the batter and place them in the batter in the cake pan. Fill the apples with nuts and jam. Cover with the cheesecake mixture. Place in the oven at 160°C (convection oven) and bake for 75 minutes (test for doneness). Dust with icing sugar before serving.
