Baked Apple Cake in Glass

The perfect baked apple cake in glass recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Apples diced ready
  • Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 150 g Margarine
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 300 g Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking powder
  • 4 tbsp Milk
  • 100 g Sour cream
  • Margarine and breadcrumbs for the glasses
  1. Peel, core and dice apples. Drizzle with lemon juice to prevent the apples from browning. Mix the cinnamon and sugar. Mix about 5 tbsp of the cinnamon sugar with the apples. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Soak the rubber rings in cold water.
  1. For the dough, stir the margarine, sugar and vanilla sugar on the highest setting with the hand mixer until creamy for a few minutes. Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix the flour and baking powder and mix in alternately with milk and sour cream on a low level.
  1. Fold in the diced apples. Grease the jars with margarine and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or roasted almond flakes. Pour the dough into the glasses and smooth out. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 40-45 minutes. Chopstick sample.
  1. Remove the jars and close them immediately. To do this, put a rubber ring on the inside of the glass lid. Place the lid on the edge of the glass and secure it with four clips.
