Baked Apple Dessert

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 apples
  • 2 tbsp almonds, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sultanas
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • some cinnamon
  • 200 ml apple juice
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • 1 pack of sauce powder (vanilla)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the apples. Core the apples with an apple corer and place them in a baking dish. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Mix the almonds, sultanas, and quark in a small bowl and season with cinnamon and lemon juice. Fill the apples with the mixture and pour the apple juice into the baking dish. Bake the apples for 20 minutes on the middle shelf of a hot oven. In the meantime, prepare a custard using the gravy powder and 1/4 l milk according to the instructions. Serve the apples with the custard.
