Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Can be varied with Christmas spices, vegan with soy cream and margarine, egg-free, can be prepared dairy-free
Chop the apples into small pieces. Melt the butter in a wide saucepan, add the sugar, and caramelize lightly. Add some of the sliced apples. Add the raisins to the pan. Sauté everything while stirring. Add the gingerbread spice, the remaining apples, and a little water. Sauté briefly. Then bring the liquid to about half a liter and drizzle in the semolina. Depending on the fineness of the semolina, you may need to add a little more water. Bring everything to a boil, allowing the semolina to swell. If desired, stir in a little more cream to soften the semolina. Ladle the semolina into bowls and serve with a tablespoon of liquid cream on top. In addition to soy cream, there is also rice cuisine (like cream, purely plant-based).
