easy to prepare and super tasty

Pour the water into a roasting pan. Core the apples (if you aren’t stuffing them right away, drizzle the insides with lemon juice to prevent browning). Mix the butter, almonds, raisins, and nuts. Season with powdered sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and a little orange marmalade, if desired. Fill the apples with the filling. Bake in the oven at 200°C (fan oven 180°C) for about 40 minutes. After about 20 minutes, cover the roasting pan. Serve with vanilla ice cream and the sauce that has formed in the bottom of the roasting pan. The orange marmalade gives the filling a slightly fruity, hard-to-identify flavor.
