Baked asparagus rolls

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g asparagus, peeled
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 2 eggs
  • Flour
  • Panko
  • Clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

quick and tasty

Blanch the asparagus for five minutes. Roll 2-3 spears each in a slice of ham. Crack the eggs, then roll the rolls first in flour, then in the eggs, and finally in the panko breadcrumbs. Then fry the spears in clarified butter, then place them in a baking dish and let them rest in the oven at 160°C for another 20 minutes. Serve with herb butter or herb sour cream.
