Baked baguette with pork

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 baguettes
  • 500 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 kg pork, shredded
  • Garlic butter
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the baguette in half and then halve it. Preheat oven to 200°C (fan oven). Slice the onions into nice, thin rings. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper and a pinch of sweet paprika. Melt the garlic butter in a pan and lightly brown the onions. Add the minced meat and sear well. Divide the meat and onions equally between the baguette halves. Spread the cheese over the top and season lightly with salt and pepper. Bake for 15 minutes (until the cheese is golden brown).
