Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 chicken
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • Flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 50 g margarine
  • 100 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the chicken into pieces. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper and coat in flour. Then dip in the beaten eggs and immediately fry in the melted margarine, turning frequently until browned on all sides. Now deglaze with water and simmer the meat until tender – about 45 minutes should be enough. If it simmers a little longer, that’s okay. Add a little more water if necessary. This goes very well with the pumpkin vegetables from my recipes, or even just with various salads.
