Chocolate mousse

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 80 g chocolate (milk)
  • 60 g dark chocolate
  • some vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese if needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

The slightly lighter version – with protein – utilization

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until frothy. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate. The safest way to do this is to place it in a tightly sealed plastic bag in hot water. Then fold the chocolate into the beaten egg whites along with a little vanilla sugar. You can then stir in some more cream cheese, if desired. Divide the mousse between two glasses, decorate them nicely, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Tip: It chills faster in the freezer, and slightly frozen, the mousse also makes a cool alternative to regular chocolate ice cream.
