Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with Italian variation at the end of the recipe

Halve the chicken breast fillets (each consisting of two halves) and wrap each half in a slice of ham. Place them side by side in a greased baking dish. For the cheese sauce, dissolve the processed cheese in a little boiling milk and thicken slightly with flour. Season with cream and plenty of dill – the sauce should be thick and generous. Pour the sauce over the breasts, sprinkle with the grated cheese, and place in the oven. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approx. 40-45 minutes. Baguette goes well with it. Tip: For an Italian variation, simply use Gorgonzola instead of processed cheese and season with garlic instead of dill. This also goes well with spaghetti.
