Baked fish fillet on spinach

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 450 g spinach, coarsely chopped, frozen
  • 1 shallot(s), finely diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 fish fillets of your choice (e.g. cod, pollock)
  • 150 g cream cheese with herbs
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 50 g shrimp(s), cooked, coarsely chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix the cream cheese with the crème fraîche and the coarsely chopped shrimp. Melt the butter and sauté the diced shallots until translucent. Add the thawed spinach and season with salt and pepper. If desired, you can also add a little nutmeg. Place the spinach in a greased baking dish. Season the fish fillet and place it on top of the spinach. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the fish and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes. Serve with boiled potatoes.
