Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g leaf spinach
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic
- 40 g butter
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
- 250 g cheese (Emmental), grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Clean the spinach and trim the stems. Peel the onion and garlic. Finely chop the onion. Crush the garlic with salt and sauté both in the hot butter. Add the spinach and sauté for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat. Grease an ovenproof dish and add half of the spinach. Sprinkle with half of the cheese. Add the remaining spinach. Top with more cheese. Then place in the preheated oven. Baking time: 10 minutes. Electric oven: 220°C. Gas mark 5. Remove and serve immediately. Side dish: Scrambled eggs with chives.
