Baked Maultaschen with chorizo ​​and onions

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g Maultasche(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 150 g sausage (chorizo)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste, basil
  • 100 ml cream
  • 100 ml milk
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • herbs, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the Maultaschen into strips and place in a heatproof casserole dish. Sprinkle with the cheese. Halve the onion and slice into strips. Dice the chorizo ​​and garlic and sauté them with the onions in a non-stick pan without fat. Deglaze with cream and milk. Stir the tomato paste into the sauce. Season to taste with salt, coarse black pepper, and herbs (e.g., basil, oregano). Pour the sauce over the Maultaschen and bake in the oven at 220°C for 20 minutes. Serve with a mixed salad.
