Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ banana(s), ripe
  • ½ cup instant oatmeal
  • 0.33 cup milk
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some cinnamon powder
  • some vanilla powder
  • Raisins or berries, optional
  • some sugar, honey or sweetener, optional
  • possibly chia seeds or flax seeds, optional

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 8 minutes

Mash the banana and mix with the milk. Add the egg and stir well. Add the oats to the liquid and mix until a dough-like mixture forms. Season with cinnamon and vanilla and add sugar or other sweetener, if desired. Stir again. You can add anything you like, from raisins, berries, grated apple or chia seeds to chocolate. The sky’s the limit. Place the mixture in a cup or other microwave-safe container and cook on high for 2 to 3 minutes; the time may vary depending on the microwave (use a toothpick to test). Let cool briefly and enjoy while still warm. It also tastes good cold. Suitable for diets as it keeps you full for a long time. 330 kcal per serving.
