Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (egg noodles)
  • 100 g butter, melted
  • 100 g ground almonds
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 50 g sugar
  • 700 g apples, peeled and pitted, sliced
  • Cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until just al dente. Brush with the butter and toss with the almonds and powdered sugar. Sauté the apple slices with the sugar and cinnamon in a little water. The water should ideally have evaporated by the end! Place half of the pasta in a buttered baking dish, scatter the apples on top, and cover with the remaining pasta. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot. Tip: Instead of the apples, you can also use a mixture of 160g powdered sugar, 160g ground poppy seeds, 80g raisins, and 120g plum jam.
