Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slice(s) bread(s) (rye bread)
  • some butter
  • 2 bulb(s), firm
  • 150 g blue cheese (Danablu)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 13 minutes

Instead of cheese after dinner, just have a delicious toast

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Spread the bread thinly with butter. Wash, peel, halve, and core the pears. Cut the pears into thin slices and place them on the buttered bread. Place a mound of cheese on each pear slice and bake in the oven for 5-8 minutes (the cheese should only melt slightly). Serve immediately.
