Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g crab from the can
- 75 g mayonnaise
- some salt and pepper, white from the mill
- ½ tsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 m.-large egg whites
- 75 g cheese, grated
- 4 slices of white bread (white loaf)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Mix the mayonnaise with salt, pepper, paprika, and lemon juice. Fold in the drained crab. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold in the grated cheese. Spread the white bread slices with butter, spread the crab mayonnaise on top, and top with the cheese meringue. Bake the slices in the oven for 10 minutes, sprinkle with parsley, and serve hot.
