Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g pork fillet(s)
- 4 tomatoes
- 2 zucchinis
- 300 g ham, cooked in slices
- 400 g cheese (e.g. Bonbel), sliced
- 2 cups of crème fraîche
- tsp mustard, medium hot
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with crème fraîche and mustard sauce
First, slice the pork fillet, tomatoes, and zucchini. Season the pork fillet with pepper and fry briefly in a little fat until it is not cooked through, just lightly browned on the outside. Arrange the meat in a casserole dish. Now layer tomatoes, zucchini, ham, and cheese on each piece of meat (cut the ham and cheese slices accordingly). Place the whole thing in the oven at 180°C and bake for about 20 minutes, until the vegetables are soft and the cheese has melted. While that’s in the oven, heat the crème fraîche in a pan with a little fat and add a little bit of mustard, depending on your taste; it shouldn’t be too strong. Season with salt and pepper. Add finely chopped dill. When the meat comes out of the oven, pour the sauce over it, either directly into the casserole dish or onto a plate. This would be a good side dish to serve with potato gratin, green tagliatelle, or even just baguette.
