Baked waffle potatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 large potatoes
  • Paprika powder, approx. 1 tbsp
  • little salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel the potatoes. Now slice the potato using a large waffle-patterned slicer, then turn it 90 degrees and slice it again, then turn it another 90 degrees. Continue this process until the potato is sliced, and then continue with the next one until all of them are sliced. Now spread the waffle potatoes on a baking sheet lined with baking foil or parchment paper. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes, depending on the size, until golden brown. Lightly salt them last. The shape ensures beautifully crispy baked potatoes.
