Baking: Apple and Spice Blondies

- 500 g Apple cubes sour

- Quarter the apples, remove the core, peel and cut into small cubes. Mix these with cinnamon and clove powder.
- Preheat the pipe to 160 ° C circulating air (180 ° C lower / upper heat).
- Roughly chop the couverture and let it melt together with the butter over the water bath. Then cool slightly.
- Beat eggs, sugar and salt until frothy. Add the couverture and butter mixture while stirring. Add flour, baking powder and about 3/4 of the apple cubes and stir well.
- Put the dough in a greased and crumbled springform pan (35 x 24 cm), distribute the remaining quarter of the apple cubes on top and bake for about 30 – 35 minutes. (Toothpick sample)
- Melt the rest of the couverture over the water bath and mix with the cream. Spread over the cake with a spoon. Remove from the mold after cooling.
- This cake is easy to freeze. It tastes particularly good with a dollop of freshly whipped cream.
