Baking: Apple and Spice Blondies

  • 500 g Apple cubes sour

  • 2 tablespoon Cream

  1. Quarter the apples, remove the core, peel and cut into small cubes. Mix these with cinnamon and clove powder.
  2. Preheat the pipe to 160 ° C circulating air (180 ° C lower / upper heat).
  3. Roughly chop the couverture and let it melt together with the butter over the water bath. Then cool slightly.
  4. Beat eggs, sugar and salt until frothy. Add the couverture and butter mixture while stirring. Add flour, baking powder and about 3/4 of the apple cubes and stir well.
  5. Put the dough in a greased and crumbled springform pan (35 x 24 cm), distribute the remaining quarter of the apple cubes on top and bake for about 30 – 35 minutes. (Toothpick sample)
  6. Melt the rest of the couverture over the water bath and mix with the cream. Spread over the cake with a spoon. Remove from the mold after cooling.
  7. This cake is easy to freeze. It tastes particularly good with a dollop of freshly whipped cream.
