Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-large banana(s), ripe
  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g sugar, brown or white
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g chocolate, dark or with almonds
  • 50 g walnuts or other nuts

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cream the butter until creamy. Stir in the sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir in the egg and mashed banana. Mix the flour with baking powder and salt and add to the batter. Stir in the finely chopped chocolate and nuts. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the batter on it. Bake at 160°C (fan oven) for approx. 15 minutes. After baking, cut into diamond-shaped pieces and then let cool. The amount of chocolate can be quite flexible. More is never wrong… You can also be flexible with the choice of nuts. The batter can also be placed in blobs on the baking tray. Spreading it out on the tray is much quicker and easier, though.
