Banana Hazelnut Cake
The perfect banana hazelnut cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 275 g Margarine
- 500 g Flour
- 100 g Honey liquid
- 2 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 125 g Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 3 tablespoon Cocoa powder
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 100 gr Ground hazelnut kernels
- 3 Bananas [approx. 360 gr.]
- 3 tablespoon Lemon juice
- Fat and breadcrumbs for the pan
- Mix 100 g margarine, 200 g flour, honey and 1 packet of vanilla sugar with the dough hook to make crumble. Refrigerate.
- Mix 175 grams of margarine, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, salt and sugar until creamy. Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix 300 grams of flour, cocoa, baking powder and nuts. Peel the bananas, drizzle with lemon juice, mash with a fork. Stir with the flour mixture into the fat mass.
- Grease a 2 liter loaf pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread the sprinkles over it. Bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 90 minutes.
