Barbecue marinade

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 ½ tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 ½ tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tbsp salt, coarse
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp peppercorns, colored
  • 1 pinch of cumin
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 pinch of savory
  • 1 pinch of basil
  • 1 tsp oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

For grilling, smoking or simply seasoning meat

Grind all ingredients in a mortar and pestle and rub into the meat. It’s perfect for pulled pork or spare ribs. Mix a little with good oil or, depending on your taste, with liquid to create a liquid marinade.
