Basil Pasta

The perfect basil pasta recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Tagliatelle
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 bunch Basil
  • 200 g Creme fraiche Cheese
  • 100 g Cream
  • 300 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 piece Onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  1. Boil ribbon noodles in salted water.
  1. Dice the onion, wash off the basil. Heat the oil in the pan. Sauté the onion in it. Pour in the vegetable stock and simmer for two minutes.
  1. Add the creme fraîche and cream and bring to the boil while stirring. (slightly lower in calories: sour cream instead of creme fraîche :-))
  1. To give basil. Puree. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix the pasta with the sauce.
