Basil smoothie with chia seeds

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 120 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp yogurt
  • ½ banana(s)
  • 1 lime(s), organic
  • 1 handful of basil leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Soak the chia seeds in 4 tablespoons of water for 10 to 15 minutes. Blend the milk, yogurt, chopped banana, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, 1 teaspoon of lime zest, and the coarsely chopped basil in a blender until creamy. Add the soaked chia seeds and blend again on high.
