Beans – feta cheese – salad

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 small cans of kidney beans
  • 2 small cans of white beans
  • 1 small can of corn kernels
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 400 g sheep’s cheese or feta cheese
  • 1 red chili pepper(s) (alternatively some cayenne pepper)
  • 300 ml tomato ketchup
  • 5 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • Salt
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Rinse the beans and corn and drain. Trim, wash, and finely chop the peppers and tomatoes. Peel and dice the onions. Roughly dice the feta cheese. Wash, deseed, and finely slice the chili pepper. Mix with ketchup, honey, and vinegar. Season with salt. Combine the prepared salad ingredients and dressing. Cover and let stand for at least 1 hour before serving.
