Ingredients for 4 servings:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- ¼ cup water, hot
- 1 tbsp, crushed paprika powder, sweet
- ½ cup sour cream
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp, levelled sugar
- 2 tbsp horseradish, freshly grated

Salad or dip sauce
Whisk the mayonnaise, ketchup, and hot water until fluffy. Then gradually add the paprika, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, and horseradish. The sauce should be light and fluffy and be used immediately. If refrigerated, whisk vigorously again before serving. This sauce is suitable for carrot, chicory, endive, lobster, poultry, asparagus, cheese, veal, beetroot, herring, and egg salads.
