Beef with bean sprouts

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g lean beef, cut into very small pieces
  • ½ tsp salt
  • pepper, black
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 150 g onion(s), finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp beef broth
  • 50 g soy sprouts, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Recipe from Trinidad

Season the beef with salt, pepper, and garlic. Heat oil in a pan and add soy sauce. Fry the beef until browned. Then add the onions and broth. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Then reduce the heat and add the bean sprouts. Simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve with rice and hot pepper sauce.
