Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beetroot, preferably fresh, or pre-cooked if necessary
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Vinegar
  • oil

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 hours; Total time approx. 15 hours 10 minutes

easy and fast

Cook fresh beets with the skin on for about 50 minutes (depending on size). Once cooled, peel and cut into sticks (pre-cooked beets don’t require any cooking or peeling). Finely dice the onion and place it in a bowl with the beets. Season with salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar, and let it marinate for about 15 minutes. Of course, fresh ones that you cook yourself taste best.
