Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 large beetroots (pre-cooked, approx. 1 pack)
- ½ large apple
- 1 small onion(s)
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (apple balsamic vinegar)
- 2 tsp honey
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
- Walnuts, optional
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely chop the beetroot, peel and core the apple, and also finely chop it. Peel and finely chop the onion. Place everything in a bowl. For the dressing, combine the oil, vinegar, and honey and season with salt and pepper. Mix with the prepared ingredients in the bowl. If you like, you can sprinkle the salad with chopped walnuts. Note: The dressing really depends on your personal preference; I sometimes use up to 2 tablespoons of vinegar and then a bit more honey; just experiment!
