easy to prepare, tastes perfect as a dessert to pizza
First, mix the butter with the white and brown sugar in a mixing bowl. This is easiest with a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook. Once everything is evenly blended, add the egg, vanilla sugar, and salt. Mix everything well again using the dough hook. Add the baking powder to the flour and then add it to the existing mixture along with the chocolate chips. Knead the dough with the mixer until it has a smooth, firm consistency. The consistency should be roughly that of play dough; then it’s perfect. Press the mixture into ovenproof baking dishes. The bottom should be about 1 cm thick with dough. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat) (no fan). Now refrigerate everything for about 15 minutes so the butter can firm up again and everything can settle. Place the dishes with the dough in the oven and bake for 6-7 minutes at 200°C (200°C). This will create a shiny layer of fat on the dough. Now reduce the oven temperature to 180°C and bake for another 8-10 minutes, until the surface of the dough turns a light golden yellow. It’s important not to overbake. The inside should be hot but still soft. If you overbake, you’ll have made a large cookie. Serve the hot baking dishes, spread some chocolate sauce over the dough, and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The dough must be eaten hot; it cannot be removed from the baking dish. It is eaten and served directly from the hot dish.
