Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g flour
- 65 g sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 65 g fat
- 125 g fat
- 175 g hazelnuts, ground
- 170 g sugar
- 50 g flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 jar sour cherries
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
For the base: Combine the flour, sugar, fat, egg, and baking powder and pour into a tart pan. For the topping: Drain the sour cherries and place them on top of the batter. Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks until frothy and mix with the fat, hazelnuts, sugar, flour, and baking powder. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Pour this mixture over the cherries and bake for about 70 minutes at 175°C. If desired, top with a lemon or rum glaze, for example.
