Berry Crumble Cake
The perfect berry crumble cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For a cake pan of 25cm
- 500 g Berry
- 200 g Flour
- 100 g Whole wheat flour
- 2 tbsp Jam of your choice
- 120 g Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla powder
- Grease the cake pan and preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Knead the flour, sugar and margarine into a crumble dough. Place 2/3 of the crumble on the cake pan base and press down lightly.
- Bake in the oven on the middle rack for about 15 minutes. Keep the rest of the batter in the refrigerator.
- Wash the berries, dry them well and then carefully mix in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of sugar, vanilla powder and jam.
- Take the baking pan out of the oven and distribute the berry mixture on the pre-baked base. Take the remaining streusel out of the refrigerator and pour over the berry mixture. Back in the oven and bake for another 20 minutes until the crumble is nice and brown.
- Sprinkle the berry crumble with 1 tablespoon of sugar and eat it while it is lukewarm.
